MHN Family Life Center

Our Mission: The M.H. Newton Family Life Enrichment Center is a light house for the South Sumter Community. Our focus is to win souls for Christ . We seek to minister to the total person, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Christian & Academic School

The first Day-care Center of Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church was organized under the leadership of Sister Willie Mae Holland during the 1959-1960 school year. The basic curriculum placed emphasis on the development of skills in preparation for the 1st grade, as well as bible study skills to include stories, bible verses, songs, etc. The students ranged in age from three to five years old.

The Education Ministry seeks to be a resource for parents & children. We help with academic support and serve as liaison between parent and school system.

The purpose of this ministry is to give our young people the opportunity to actively worship, learn, serve and apply the word of God to their lives. We pray that we make Disciples of Christ through bible study, contemporary worship, conferences, and other vehicles.

The Purpose of the dance ministry is to usher the congregation into the presence of the Lord through dance. Our prayer is that through the ministry of the word in dance, someone will accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and receive comfort, joy and peace. Our ultimate goal is to give God praise!

Prison Ministry

To preach Christ and him crucified. Not by Excellency of speech nor by the wisdom of men, but through the power of the Holy Spirit.
